The Zurich Classic of New Orleans has been held annually since 1938. It's always been held in the New Orleans area, but at different golf courses. For the last couple of years the event has been played at TPC Louisiana.
The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is a regular golf tournament on the PGA Tour and has Zurich Financial Services is the main sponsor. In 2008 the winner received $1,116,000.http://zurichgolfclassic.com/content/view/20/34/
Background

The event has been played at several different courses. The last time they had to change scenery, it was due to the Hurricane Katrina.
Jerry Keller is the current champion, and only a few players have managed to win two years in a row: Carlos Franco in 1999-2000, Tom Watson in 1980-1981, Bo Wininger in 1962-1963, and Byron Nelson in 1945-1946.http://zurichgolfclassic.com/content/view/22/36/
