The Zune 2 is the next in Microsoft's Zune MP3 player line. It was released on November 13, 2007, and is slightly smaller than the original Zune models, with increased hard disk space. Several models comprise the Zune 2 line, including new models with four to eight gigabytes of flash memory. All models are equipped with WiFi and the ability to connect wirelessly to other Zune units. Each also comes preloaded with a small selection of music, videos and other media.

History and Development
As an upgrade to previous models, the Zune 2 contains an FM transmitter for users to enjoy the radio as well as MP3s. The standard round keypad was also upgraded to an oval-shaped five button keypad.
