Zoolander

Zoolander is a slapstick comedy that was written by Ben Stiller and Drake Sather. The film was directed by, and stars [[Ben Stiller]. This movie script was based on a pair of short films that Stiller made for the VH1 Fashion Awards. The movie centers around male model Derek Zoolander.

Derek Zoolander a male model that has been named number one in modeling for the last three years. At the Awards show when he expects to win his fourth award, he is shocked to find it goes to a newcomer, Hansel. With his confidence shaken, he becomes brainwashed to assassinate the Malaysian Prime Minister by the conniving fashion mogul Jacobim Mugatu (played by Will Ferrell). Zoolander's arch rival, fellow male model Hansel (played by Owen Wilson), eventually tries to help Derek defeat Mugatu with the help of "Investigatory" journalist Matilda Jeffries (Christine Taylor).

Christine Taylor is Stillers real life wife and his real life father, Jerry Stiller is featured in the movie as the character Maury Ballstein. The film is full of now famous one-liners and bizarre quotes. With the popularity of the movie and Ben Stiller's work they have now announced and are working on the sequel to the movie in Zoolander 2.
