A common feature in many horror films, the zombie is also popular in Halloween costumes. To dress like a zombie, keep in mind that a zombie is literally a reanimated corpse, so deader is better. Since they often travel in hordes, zombies can make great and inexpensive group costumes.
Costume Tips
While there are many zombie costumes available from retailers, a zombie costume can be easily created at home: Tattered old clothes, some false blood and makeup combined with the right zombie walk will transform the living into the walking undead in no time. Dirty up your costume with regular soil or brown paint and add some fake wounds for more authenticity.
