The Zac Brown Band is a country music group that was formed in 2000, by a group of talented musicians in Atlanta Georgia. After paying their dues for many years, The Zac Brown band came into its own and became a very popular country band.
The band is made up of six men, Zac Brown who does the lead vocals and plays guitar. Jimmy De Martini plays the fiddle and does vocals. Chris Fryar plays the drums. Clay Cook plays the guitar and other backup instruments as needed including guitar, organ, and mandolin and helps with vocals. John Driskell Hopinks plays the bass guitar and does vocals. Coy Bowles plays both the guitar and organ.

2010 Awards and Nominations
Zac Brown Band has been nominated for the awards Entertainer of the Year, and Top Group of the year, at the Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast live on April 18, 2010 on CBS. Their hit song Toes is up for single of the year, and The Foundation is up for album of the year.
At the 2010 Grammy awards, which were held in February of 2010 the band, was nominated for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for Chicken Fried.
