Yulia Tymoshenko is a politician from the Ukraine. She was elected Prime Minister in the 2007 parliamentary elections. It is her second non-consecutive term. Tymoshenko leads the All-Ukrainian Union political party. She is also the head of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc, a coalition in the Ukrainian parliament that currently holds a majority of seats.

2007 Parliamentary Victory
Tymoshenko led her parliamentary coalition to a majority control over the Party of Regions in the 2007 elections. Her Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc allied with the Our Ukraine-Peoples Self Defence party to earn a combined total of 228 seats.
