Yule Log Story
A Yule Log is originally an Eastern European tradition in where a log of wood is burned in the fireplace during the Christmas season. The log can be burned during the Winter Solstice, on Christmas Eve or at many other times during the holiday festivities. It is also a feature of modern pagan practices.The Cottage: Yule LogFrench bakers created a dessert as a substitute for the traditional burning of the Yule Log in Napoleonic France when chimneys were not allowed to be used.
