Yovani Gallardo

  • Major League Baseball pitcher Yovani Gallardo currently plays for the Milwaukee Brewers.

    Gallardo was originally drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers on June 7, 2004. He was immediately placed with the Brewers' minor league affiliates, where he spent his first few seasons.

    On June 18, 2007, Gallardo was called up to make his MLB debut with the Brewers. He played 20 games with the Brewers in 2007, pitching 110.3 innings and finishing with a 3.67 earned runs average. Gallardo was also selected as the Brewers Pitcher of the Month for July and September of 2007.
