Young Buck is a member of 50 Cent's G-Unit records. Buck started rapping at 12 and was in a recording studio by the age of 14 while at the same time he began peddling narcotics in his home town. Local dealers game him the name "Young Buck" in reference to his age and relative success. At the age of 16 Cash Money co-founder, Brian "Baby" Williams, saw Young Buck at a rap battle and brought him into the Cash Money fold. Young Buck dropped out of high school and moved in with the rest of the crew in a small New Orleans, Louisiana apartment.
