• Yosemite Falls is the highest waterfall in North America, located in Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. Yosemite fall is also the fifth highest waterfall in the world. Melting snow is the principle feed for Yosemite Creek and Falls. Yosemite Falls is a major attraction for the Yosemite National Park.
  • Three Sections

    Yosemite Falls are made up of three sections. The top section being Upper Yosemite Falls. Only one obstruction, Fern Ledge, interrupts the water flow that plunges into the V shaped Cascades. A series of cascades makes up the second section of Yosemite Falls. The cascades are often overlooked due to lack of public access. The Lower Falls make up the bottom of Yosemite falls. The lower falls plunge into the forested area below and flow through the pine woods before they join the Merced river.
