Yo Gabba Gabba! is a children's television show that airs on Nickelodeon. DJ Lance Rock hosts the show, where five toy monsters come to life.Nick Jr: Yo Gabba Gabba!
The show is targeted to children ages one and up. It has generated press for its hip musical and celebrity guests, who are meant to appeal to parents as well. Guests have included Shins singer James Mercer and veteran hip-hop artists Biz Markee and Rahzel. The show's title may be meant to spark the interest of 30-something parents, for it seems to evoke both "Yo! MTV Raps" and the Ramones catch-phrase "Gabba Gabba Hey!"
