Judges' Comments
Randy said she took some liberties. It was a very, very, very good performance.Paula said it was great to see how she changed and let herself be very vulnerable, but that does she needs to work on connecting more with her eyes.
Simon said that was her best performance so far, but it wasn't incredible. He felt she chose the best song. He thought it was the song that Brooke White should have chosen.

- And to keep the bad choices coming, Syesha's doing Yesterday. I fear for her tomorrow. You have to pull off that song with utter simplicity or you're going to hopelessly oversing it and turn it into a caricature (unless you're Ray Charles, which I think we're safe in assuming Syesha is not).
- She gets a little special face time, which after the last few weeks she needs.
- About as simple as it could be, arrangement-wise, at the start (acoustic guitar). She takes a few liberties with the tune, with mixed success. And here comes the glory notes. Oh well. So much for simplicity.
- Randy notes the liberties, but liked them. That's Paula's cue to wax about her vulnerability. Simon thought it was her best. Guess they want Syesha in the show. And of course Simon thinks that was the best song choice. Heavens.
