Yes, Dear is an American sitcom following two couples with different views on parenting. One couple, Greg (Anthony Clark) and Kim (Jean Louisa Kelly) Warner, were more refined and uptight; the other couple, Jimmy (Mike O'Malley) and Kim's sister Christine (Liza Snyder), were laidback and lazy.
For the first four seasons, the show did surprisingly well in the ratings, much to the chagrin of critics who, for the most part, considered it one of the worst new shows of its time.
Changes in time slots and CBS's broadcasting episodes out of order eventually threw the series into disarray continuity-wise, lowering ratings and eventually leading to its cancellation in 2006.
The show is still shown in syndication.
