Yakuza 3

Ryu ga Gotoku 3, or Yakuza 3, was officially announced on July 2, 2008 by producer Toshihiro Nagoshi. Yakuza 3 is a sequel to the previous Yakuza games, and returns players back to Kamiyachu with lead character Kazuma Kiryu. The game is developed by Amusement Vision and published by SEGA. Rated M for Mature, the game release date was March 9, 2010, being available for PS3 only. Yakuza 3 is the fourth installment in the Yakuza series of games and follows main character Kiryu Kazuma as he's trying to make due on Okinawa. Kazuma runs a center for orphaned children with his adopted daughter, Haruka. The orphanage is on land that is owned by Shigeru Nakahara, a mob boss, known as the Ryudo Ikka. Nakahara is under pressure from the country's government to sell the land, which places the orphanage in danger and forces Kazuma to fight for its existence.Wikipedia: Yakuza 3

Yakuza 3 is a standard third-person action adventure that makes extensive use of cut scenes to tell the game's story. Players must explore the game world to uncover clues and occasionally participate in combat in order to survive. There are 45 trophies (achievements) to be earned by the player, and the gameplay also features new elements like: First Person View, Revelation (which allows your character to learn new moves and techniques), Chase Battle and Seamless Battle. In Yakuza 3 there are several modes available to players:

• Event Mode – Describes the entire story of the game. There are 12 chapters and a prologue that can be viewed in the Gallery;
• Adventure Mode – Allows you to complete 103 missions divided in 2: Normal Missions and Hitman Missions. There are also 20 mini-games to be accessed: chō-han, koi-koi, oicho-kabu, roulette, poker, pool, darts and many more;
• Battle Mode – This mode can be accessed through the Underground Arena and will offer you the chance to fight against different competitors in a martial arts competition. This mode has different sub-modes.

Yakuza 3 is the fourth episode of the Yakuza franchise.
