Introduction
Welcome to the Video Game Walkthrough for Yakuza 2, a take no prisoners (but take bribes) sequel to Yakuza. If you crave more Yakuza life, high quality liquor, fine dining and finer women, then this is the sequel for you. And if you want to finish the game without getting your butt whupped, you'll need this walkthrough guide. Being a Yakuza isn't simple; you have to know when to fight and know when to be a diplomat, and sometimes you have to be a diplomatic fighter. You'll figure it out with a little help from this guide. So get ready to teach the streets about respect with the Yakuza 2 Walkthrough. -
Jin Kazama and his abilities
Jin's controls are split up into two modes: Adventure Mode and Battle Mode.
Adventure Mode: Use the Left Analog stick to walk around. Use R2 to zoom camera, reset with R3 or L2. Use X to talk, listen or check something as well as entering buildings.
Battle Mode: Use Triangle to trigger heat action, use Square button for punch and kick, use Triangle for powerful attack. Use R1 for your fighting stance, use the Left Analog Stick and Triangle or Square to attack enemies behind you while pressing R1. Use Circle to grab and to throw. Pick up a weapon with Circle then use Square or Triangle. Use Triangle to stomp a downed enemy. Use the Left Analog Stick and X to quick step. Use R2 to taunt your enemy and eventually raise your heat gauge. Press all buttons and Left Analog Stick to recover or escape.

Chapter One: The Bloodstained Note
- After the lengthy introductory cutscenes, you will have control over Kazuma.
- Walk forward and press X next to the grave at the end to examine it. You'll be asked to "recall the events of last year" or not. It's suggested you do so, especially if you haven't played Yakuza 1.
- When you have control again, the game will start a battle tutorial for you. Follow the very explicit instructions on the screen to get your first taste of battle. After the lessons, you're free to finish off the remaining enemies as you wish.
Find Daigo Dojima
- Run forward and find a woman on the corner of the street with a green arrow over her head. Talk to her to find out that a fight has broken out the next street over.
- Walk towards the large pink dot on your radar screen to find the brawl.
- Use the techniques you learned in the battle tutorial to take out the thugs.
- After the fight, the man you saved will tell you that Daigo was last seen at the theater.
- Head north on the street towards the pink dot on the radar. Eventually you'll reach a woman in a red cocktail dress being attacked.
- Here, you'll receive another battle tutorial. This time you'll be taught to attack behind you and dodge.
- After the tutorials, the enemies will attack you for real. Use your back attack if you get surrounded, and keep dodging to win.
- The woman will take you to Shrine, the Cabaret where she works at.
- Following the cutscene, City Roughs attack you. Take these guys out the same way you took the others.
- Tip: When your Heat meter fills up, grab an enemy with Circle and press Triangle when prompted to. You'll smash the thug on the wall, instantly knocking them out.
- Note: By this time you should have enough experience points to level up one of your skills. Press start and go to "status". Pick a skill you want to boost and hold down X until you've filled up the required bars.
- Another cutscene will play. Afterwards, you'll have to fight Daigo.
- Daigo is not very difficult to beat. Use your Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle combo to deal most of your damage. If your heat meter fills up, try and grab Daigo to use the special move on him for a decent chunk of damage. Once you reach a certain point in the battle, the game will put you in a super finish mode. Rapidly press R2 and then the Triangle button when prompted. You will unleash a super finishing move on Daigo.
- When Daigo goes down, another cutscene will play and you'll get a chance to save your game.
Chapter Two: The Dragon of Kansai
- Walk forward
- Daigo decides to go straight to the hotel but Kiryu wants to look around a bit.
- Explore the area and find save point.
- Find Kurokawa wearing a purple suit.
- You will run into a couple of Satenbori gang members, take them out.
- Proceed to the Cabaret.
- Enter and try to go upstairs.
- You are stopped by the usher who tells you, you need an invitation.
- Exit the Cabaret and find Kurokawa in the purple suit.
- If you run into Satenbori gang members, take them out.
- You find Kurakawa, talk to him.
- Kurokawa gets you an invite to the VIP of the cabaret.
- Return to the cabaret.
- You are ushered into the VIP area.
- Once in the VIP you see Ryuji, 5th chair of the Omi Alliance.
- The Omi Alliance men come after you, take them out.
- You leave the VIP.
- Once outside you try to find out what Ryuji meant when he said, "fireworks".
- Proceed west until to the Kumohoro building.
- The top floor has exploded.
- After the cutscene, save your game.
Chapter Three: Secrets
- Tip: As you make your way downstairs, fighting Ryuji's men, do not use all of you health regeneration items, you will need them for the final battle with Ryuji.
- Kiryu and Daigo stand by the railing.
- You decide to look around before heading to the meeting.
- If you look behind you in the center of a circle on the ground, you see something sparkle.
- Check it and get Locker Key #5.
- Explore more, pick up side mission if you like.
- Return to Daigo to go to the meeting.
- At the Omi Alliance headquarters you must enter and make your way to the top floor.
- Use the stairs until you reach a circular room.
- In this room you can save your game and/or store something in a box.
- Two guards stand in front of double doors.
- Enter those doors.
- After Ryuji storms the meeting, Daigo battles him.
- You go after the Head of the clan.
- Head downstairs, you are ambushed by Yakuza on every level.
- Work through each level, taking out Ryuji's men.
- At the landing for the second to last level, jump onto the chandelier.
- Hit the button repeatedly to drop it on the men below.
- Now climb down the stairs, take out any remaining thugs and exit.
- Once outside you must battle Ryuji.
- Timing is everything in this battle, if you over commit, you will pay for it.
- Quick step and move in and out of range.
- Try to kick or punch him right before he goes to strike.
- It should take a few tries to get your distance and rhythm right.
- After the cutscene, save your game.
Chapter Four: Omi's Four Kings
- Find Kurokawa in the center of the Iwao Bridge.
- Now go to Aoi which is south of the Night Life Dojo on --- street.
- Enter and begin cutscene.
- Run back to get Aoyami.
- Bring her back to Aoi before she bleeds to death.
- Make sure you know the route back before you begin.
- When you get her safely to Aoi, you get a call from Daigo.
- Become familiar with the areas of the map.
- As you walk you get a call from Tamiyo.
- You need to get bandages.
- Go to the Pharmacy on (Shotenfuko).
- If you cross Bishamon Bridge you run into the Dine and Dasher.
- He is standing on the west side of the bridge by himself.
- Take him back to White Dragon Ramen.
- The Pharmacy is next door, get bandages.
- Return to Aoi.
- If you pass Don Quixote on your return, you should run into Kanamatsu.
- He will give you a large sum of money.
- When you return to Aoi you trigger a cutscene.
- Now you must find the informant at the Mahjong Club called Reach Towers.
- When you arrive there, you find you need an invite to get inside.
- You'll need to speak with people to get this invite but they will not have the information you need until you've leveled up.
- You must get drunk and walk around Shokufucho and you will run into fights.
- This is also an opportunity to chat up hostesses at Prime.
- When you can find no one to fight you and you've leveled up to 5, return to Reach Towers.
- Speak with the man a bit north of the entrance.
- He tells you to find Jongka at the SEGA arcade.
- Once there you find him and speak with him.
- YOu must win him a Red Kitty Kat from the UFO Catcher machine.
- Win the Kitty Kat, then speak with him an additional time.
- Head for the lockers.
- You meet kidnappers, whup 'em.
- Now head for the footpath near the water.
- Talk to a man in a red shirt with a cat.
- Get Yakiko.
- Jongka gives you a tile and a mahjong guide.
- Return to Reach Towers.
- Enter and pass the reception desk.
- Go to the table in the back, where there is a man with a padded vest.
- Speak with him and answer: It's Your Call, and Accept Rate.
- Pay him the money for the information.
- You find that the next bit of info costs 300,000 yen.
- Leave Reach Towers and head for Iwao Bridge.
- Speak with Kurokawa.
- Go to Stoji and speak with the Bartender about almonds.
- Return to Reach Towers and speak with Esaki again.
- You find that a bounty has been put on your head.
- Whup on Esaki and his henchmen.
- Return to Aoi, save your game.
Chapter Five: A Hidden Past
- You begin by gaining access to a Hideout at Serena.
- Leave the hideout and head to the Tojo Clan Headquarters.
- Speak with Komaki's pupil and get a letter from him.
- You need to catch a cab to Headquarters.
- You get a phone call to go to the Amano Building at 1AM.
- Take Nakamichi south to get a cab.
- You run into the Headmistress on Showa St., speak with her.
- Get a cab.
- Enter Tojo headquarters and begin cutscene.
- After the meeting, meet Yayoi in the lobby by the front door.
- She gives you the Pheasant Key.
- Leave her and follow the pink dot to the back courtyard.
- At the end of the passage way, through the double doors, you see a nook with a hanging scroll.
- Check that area, use the Pheasant key.
- An entrance rises from the floor, take it.
- Find all items, breastplate, blk belt.
- Equip the breastplate and belt and exit.
- Return to Yayoi and speak with her again.
- When you leave the Headquarters you confront a hitman.
- Whup him, but beware of his gun. Move in when he shoots at other clan members.
- After you handle the hitman, return to Kamurocho.
- You receive a call from Kaoru. You must pick up underwear and beer.
- Go to Don Quixote for both items.
- Return to Serena (hideout).
- Head to Purgatory.
- Once you arrive there, enter through the outdoor bathroom.
- Once inside head for purgatory mansion.
- Speak with Majima.
- You are invited to a tournament, accept.
- You must totally disarm/unequip yourself.
- When the tournament begins you fight the Brazilian Gladiator.
- Quick step his strikes but don't move behind him.
- It is hard to avoid his axe whether striking or swinging to strike.
- However, quick stepping and attacking will minimize your exposure to strikes and you should be able to finish him.
- Next is GB Holmes.
- Quick step his attacks and kick him repeatedly. Kicks or the one square one triangle combination to break his guard.
- For Majima again you must quick step. Quick step and move out of his reach.
- Attack him with a special repeatedly. Build one up if you don't have one using R2 taunt.
- Continue special attacks until he is defeated.
- Return to Serena (HQ), save game.
Chapter Six: Plots and Schemes
- Equip the items you removed in the last chapter.
- Head to the Amano building.
- Not sure where it is, you must find Tamiyo who does know.
- Follow the pink dot north and you'll find the large square.
- On the street at the south end of the square you find a Young Man being harassed.
- If you step in for him you will earn a friend and yen.
- To the left of Young Man you find Morita standing by a soda machine.
- Ask Morita where the Amano Building is.
- You find that the building is across from a children's park and locked.
- you area accosted by the 16-bit gang outside the entrance, whup them.
- You are told the Leader has the key, you must find him.
- Follow the pink dot south.
- You walk through the cavernous alley between buildings.
- You find Mino playing a handheld video game.
- Speak with him.
- He summons his henchmen, whup them.
- Get key from Mino and head back to the Amano Building.
- Enter the building.
- Find Daigo.
- Man in Black enters, possibly kicking an AC unit at you.
- Press X or specific button called for a brief Quicktime Event.
- Equip a police baton or pick up a crowbar and attack.
- Work up your heat and perform a special move when he falls to the ground.
- You should be able to pound him to death by repeatedly pressing square (if you are leveled up and standing in the right position).
- Otherwise beat him as you would any other enemy.
- Use quick step and items as much as possible.
- After you defeat the first Man in Black, proceed down hallway.
- Collect health tonic.
- Return and take stairs to next level.
- Attackers will approach, take them out.
- Equip Iron Breastplate and proceed to next level.
- there are gunmen, take them out first, assume their weapons.
- Proceed to next level and take on attackers.
- continue on to the Roof to complete the level.
- A cutscene begins, save your game.
Chapter Seven: The Foreign Threat
- Tip: Make sure to restore your health if you have the items.
- You carry the wounded pair.
- Head to the west end of Taihei Bl.
- Hurry to Doc Emoto's Clinic.
- Follow the pink dot and avoid cops if possible.
- Enter the clinic and begin cutscene.
- When cutscene ends, choose to go to Bantam.
- You arrive at Bantam, enter.
- A cutscene begins.
- After cutscene you leave to look for Sayama.
- you get a phone call from Kaoru.
- YOu must pick her up, follow pink dot back to the clinic.
- Enter the clinic, begin cutscene.
- After cutscene you fight the two Koreans.
- Use items when you can but reaching for items will leave you vulnerable.
- Use blocking and a lot of quick step to avoid getting trapped.
- Be prepared for Quicktime Events when you will have to press square or triangle rapidly. If you are not fast enough you will take damage.
- After finishing the challenging battle a cutscene begins.
- After cutscene you decide to go to Bantam.
- You meet Kawara outside, speak with him.
- Enter Bantam and begin the next cutscene.
- It turns out that Tobe has turned on you.
- Battle his bounty hunters.
- After you whup them, return to Serena.
- Your energy is probably low, so stop and get food.
- In the alley to Serena you meet Granny White, speak with her.
- Give her your email and take her side in a scuffle with tough guys.
- Continue on to Serena.
- Save your game.
Chapter Eight: Suspect
- Inside Serena, level up.
- You get an email from Granny.
- Head to Millenium Tower.
- Follow the pink dot northeast to Taihei blvd.
- You find Millenium Tower is closed by the police.
- Kaoru gets you inside, begin cutscene.
- After cutscene, head to the Transformer room.
- Follow the pink dot, enter the elevator.
- Stop Intruders in Transformer Room.
- You switch to battle mode.
- You are attacked by multiple enemies.
- Defeat them all and you kick the last one through a fence.
- Begin cutscene here.
- Now you must battle Hiroshi.
- Equip the Substitute stone.
- A sure, albeit long, way to beat Hiroshi is to arm a Lightning Bomb.
- He cannot block the blow but it inflicts little damage.
- But for the first HP gauge you can beat him with hand to hand.
- For the second HP gauge continue to beat him with the Lightning Bomb.
- He will grab a set of steam pipes for the next HP gauge.
- Continue to beat with Lightning Bomb until he drops those pipes.
- For the next HP gauge drop the Lightning Bomb.
- Attack with hand to hand and red standing posts set along the fence.
- For the final HP gauge you have to block his combos and anticipate his blows.
- To strike Hiroshi effectively, you have to hit him just as he is to hit you.
- After you defeat Hiroshi a cutscene begins.
- You Head to Shangri-La.
- Follow the pink dot east.
- Stop at a drugstore for Health items as you may be depleted after your fight.
- You arrive at Shangri-La, enter.
- Proceed, alone, upstairs, switch to Battle mode.
- Find Daigo.
- Clear 2F of all attackers.
- Proceed to 3F.
- Watch for enemies throwing knives.
- Battle in the hallway outside of main room.
- Enter when enemies stop coming out.
- Take out Knife thrower.
- Move around floor gaps to next stairway.
- Clear all enemies on 3F.
- Continue to the next stairway.
- Defeat all enemies on 4F, enter door to holding room.
- Battle Go-Ryu.
- Arm Iron Breastplate for shooters.
- Refresh your health.
- Take out a Shotgun wielder and assume shotgun.
- Use the Shotgun for as long as you can, make the ammo last.
- Move around the room, don't get trapped.
- Focus on the big Gunmen.
- YOur next priority is the Knifer, take him out.
- More gunmen enter the room.
- Focus on gunmen first, defeat all, begin cutscene.
- Save your game.
Chapter Nine: The Omi Invasion
- Speak with Kashigawa, there is a funeral tomorrow.
- Kashigawa exits and we fast forward to the next morning.
- Take a cab to the Tojo headquarters.
- Once at Tojo, enter the grounds.
- Proceed forward to the main hall.
- Continue forward and begin cutscene.
- Follow the pink dot outside to face Omi invaders.
- Battle the Go-Ryu, defeat them.
- When out of striking range, move away from Hashimoto and his Katana.
- After you defeat the Go-Ryu, Ryuji arrives and begins cutscene.
- After the cutscene you get a phone call.
- Kaoru meets up with you.
- You must find the Sengokou clan.
- Walk around town and you run into downed clan members.
- Continue to explore the city and pick up locker keys.
- You discover that Majime is taking on the clan by himself.
- After either finding 16 keys, or possibly finding the number 1 key (orchid mahjong) you find Majime right outside of the coin lockers.
- If he is not there, you'll need to continue looking around the city and completing side missions.
- Head to the Tojo clan headquarters.
- Proceed to the door and enter.
- Speak with the Doorman.
- Proceed to the meeting room.
- Battle Nishiki members.
- Battle all on 1st floor. Pick up a wooden katana.
- Proceed right down the hallway.
- Climb the stairs in the back.
- Go right down the hallway.
- Enter the door on the right.
- Begin cutscene.
- Battle Shindo.
- Attack with Katana until you deplete his HP gauge.
- Shindo exits the room, follow.
- Find Shindo at the top of the stairway.
- Battle him until his HP guage is depleted.
- Shindo jumps to the lower level, follow.
- Arm Hercules knuckles (if you have them).
- Go outside to the Zen garden area.
- If properly leveled you see the Swing icon.
- Use the swing and quick step to defeat Shindo.
- When his HP gauge is significantly lowered, Yayoi tosses you a katana.
- A Quick Time Event ensues. Press buttons in when prompted.
- After the Quick Time Event, you should be in heat.
- Use heat special and continue beating Shindo.
- Use heat special until he is defeated.
- Return to the main house.
- Go upstairs and to the left.
- Go down the hallway.
- Enter room on left.
- You find Shindo.
- Pick up chairs and beat him down for good.
- Begin cutscene.
- Save your game.
Chapter Ten: Survivors
- Complete side missions until Takashi side mission cutscene puts you back on the main story.
- Chapter begins with cutscene.
- If you make your way to the Children's park, you can find a girl for the Adam side mission.
- Go meet Granny White in the parking lot across from host club.
- Take her part in a battle with Chinese Mafia.
- Defeat Chinese mobsters.
- Find a man with a bow tie being harassed by yakuza, take his part.
- Let him buy you a drink aftewards.
- You end up at Shellac when Yakuza enter.
- Take his part once again and you earn 1500 XP.
- Go find Komaki in a vacant lot near the Champion district.
- Get training to achieve crucial abilities.
- Continue doing side missions until you get to Shikifuku street.
- You should be just south of Adam.
- Someone calls out to you, begin cutscene.
- You wind up at Shellac.
- Follow pink dot to Millenium towers.
- Enter building and speak with Kage.
- Go back to Shellac to get Takashi.
- Begin cutscene.
- After cutscene you get a call from Kaoru.
- Go to Serena.
- Enter and begin cutscene.
- Go to Stoji.
- Speak with former comedian and help him out.
- Leave Stoji and chase down Kitigawa, he won't go far.
- Go to the walkway on the north side of the river.
- Meet Kaoru and begin cutscene.
- Back up Kaoru against perverts.
- Begin cutscene.
- You end up in Kazahori's room.
- Begin cutscene.
- Go to Shofukochu st and look for Satoshi.
- Follow the pink dot.
- enter building and approach Satoshi.
- Battle Satoshi, defeat him.
- Kazahori arrives, begin cutscene.
- Save your game.
Chapter Eleven: The Iron Law
- Meet Kaoru at the Iwao Bridge.
- Follow pink dot, begin cutscene.
- Follow Kaoru to Shinseicho district or she follows you.
- Begin cutscene.
- Find Keima.
- Proceed north, take a right to go up side street.
- Talk to man in green coat.
- Say that you have never played Shoji.
- Receive Beginner's Handbook.
- Ask Shoji player sitting on bench about Keima.
- Pay him for the information.
- You find that Keima is at the stairway down, next to Tsutenkatu tower.
- Follow pink dot.
- You get into a fight, defeat opponents and get Sledgehammer.
- leave money at the Billiken statue, 1000 yen will suffice.
- Arigato tries to run, chase him.
- Beat him up.
- Charge up your special while Kaoru keeps him occupied.
- Keep attacking Arigato with heat special.
- Go to Tsutenkatu tower.
- Enter and find Binoculars with yellow sticker.
- Pay 100 yen and take a look.
- You see the hotel laguna.
- Get Laguna memo.
- Go to pause menu, valuables, select Laguna memo.
- An unknown man answers the phone.
- He asks how many steps are in the tower, the answer is 503.
- Go to Yotteya and order Bear Goruman three times.
- When you bite into your dish, you find a Ryumi shoji piece.
- Return to Tsutenkatu tower.
- Show the doorman the shoji piece.
- Enter and begin cutscene.
- Battle Jingweon mafia.
- Take out the knifers, arm sledgehammer and substitute stone.
- Use items and heat special to defeat them.
- After you defeat the mafia, begin cutscene.
- Save your game.
Chapter Twelve: The Osaka Castle
- Begin with a cutscene.
- You've been stabbed.
- Get to Aoi before you die.
- You are attacked at the door to Aoi. Defeat them.
- Begin cutscene.
- Find Sengoku.
- Find Kurokawa at Iwao Bridge.
- Speak with him and proceed on.
- You get a phone call after a while.
- Kidnappers set up a meet at Yokobori golf center.
- Proceed to Yokobori golf center.
- Enter the golf center.
- Find manager knocked out.
- Approach him.
- A thug shows up, beat him up.
- Exit golf center and you get a phone call from Kurokawa.
- Meet him at Sotenburi riverside.
- Kurokawa has been playing you.
- Battle his unknown thugs and defeat them.
- Use your reversal as much as possible.
- Sengokou is at the Acupuncture clinic in Shinseicho.
- Before you can leave the riverside, you are accosted by a pregnant woman.
- Don't pay her, beat up her partner.
- You receive 30,000 yen and 500 exp.
- Get a taxi to Shinseicho.
- Head to the Acupuncture clinic.
- Enter, go through the doorway to the acupuncture room.
- Find Esaki who runs.
- Exit shop to chase him.
- He runs north towards Tsutenkatu tower.
- Beat him down.
- Take taxi to Osaka Castle.
- Begin cutscene.
- Begin battle mode in central tower.
- Defeat Samurai, proceed around corner to stairway.
- Enter next level.
- there are booby traps, use quick time event to avoid.
- Ninjas attack, take them out first.
- Collect any items on level and proceed to stairs.
- On next level, defeat samurai's and ninjas.
- Explore the level until you find all items.
- Climb stairs to next level.
- Man the fixed gun and take out all samurai.
- After you take out Kaneda, pause and level up.
- Jump down and search area for items.
- Climb the stairs and enter next area.
- Ninjas attack, Kaneda attacks as well.
- Defeat troublesome ninjas but consistently attack kaneda as he can summon more fighters.
- Explore the level for items, proceed to stairs.
- Begin cutscene.
- You confront Sengokou.
- He sicks tigers on you.
- Don't try to pick up the spears along the walls.
- Quickstep the tigers and work up your Swing.
- Use swing on tigers repeatedly. If you don't have swing, stick and move.
- When signaled, hit R2 to build up your heat and attack tiger with special.
- Arm substitute stone.
- Once the tigers are defeated, begin cutscene.
- Save your game.
Chapter Thirteen: Squaring Up
- Begin with a cutscene.
- Take Haruki around town.
- Leave Aoi.
- Head north up the street and a cutscene begins.
- If you go to the Sega Center you will come across Kanamatsu.
- Play him in a match of Y76 if you like.
- Leave the Sega center and cross the Iwao Bridge.
- You run into Kanamatsu again.
- A guy owes him money, convince him to give him another day.
- You get 1500 Exp and a tortoiseshell plate.
- Go to Aoi and enter.
- You get a call from a producer.
- Follow the pink dot south.
- Enter the talent agency, the entrance is in front of a black mercedes benz.
- The producer wants Haruki.
- Agree that it's in her best interest (even though you probably don't agree).
- you go to get Haruki and thugs are accosting her.
- Beat up the thugs and begin cutscene.
- Follow the pink dot north to Stoji.
- Enter and help out a girl whose having some problems.
- head back to Aoi.
- Enter and talk to Haruki.
- Tell her that you are "all set".
- You get a call and begin a cutscene.
- You jump onto a flatbed to takeout mafia thugs.
- Defeat the first wave and jump to the next truck that pulls up.
- Defeat the second wave and jump to the next truck that pulls up.
- Defeat the third wave and this time thugs jump on to the truck.
- Defeat the fourth wave and a man in black jumps on.
- Use repeated grabs and quick step out of his attacks.
- Begin cutscene.
- Follow the pink dot to millenium tower.
- You may be stopped by Jingweon, defeat them.
- Proceed into the tower and begin cutscene.
- Jingweon tries to take you out.

- Quick step his shots and beat him to work up heat.
- Use reversal heat special until you defeat him.
- Begin cutscene.

Chapter Fourteen: The Go-Ryu March
- Begin with cutscene.
- Find Sayama.
- Explore the city, west of Adam on Shikifuko st you can find a girl for the Adam side mission.
- Continue to explore the city and you may run into Kanamatsu, he's broke now.
- Give him money and receive a tip.
- Go to theater square.
- Talk to Morita who stands by the machines. He sends you to Asia.
- go to Asia, you may run into Granny White on the way.
- If you help Granny White you will get into a major battle, very difficult.
- You will need to use the Sacred Bukuto which has around 80 hits.
- Arm the substitute stone as well as you will need it.
- If you don't have the sacred Bukuto use as many weapons as you have.
- When you succeed you receive 2000 exp and a locker key.
- You also receive Lotus style manual.
- Proceed to Asia and find Nitta near the speakers on the left.
- Talk to him, pay him 50000 for the password.
- Head to Beam.
- Talk to the clerk.
- Ask for Take's Prankster high school heaven.
- Clerk asks about gas bill.
- The answer is 1989 (the year the Berlin wall fell).
- Get 1000 exp and begin cutscene.
- meet Arms dealer and buy arms if you so please.
- When you leave, you can meet another girl for the Adam side mission on Shichifuku st. Tell her Adam is full of funny guys.
- Enter Adam and talk to Kagami.
- Return to Serena.
- Move your items around, make sure you have weapons and health items.
- Leave Serena and you get a call from Date.
- Follow the Pink Dot to Emoto Clinic.
- Enter the clinic and begin cutscene.
- Exit Emoto, talk to Date.
- Head to Tojo Headquarters.
- Follow the pink dot to the nearest taxi.
- Once at Headquarters enter grounds and proceed inside.
- Begin cutscene.
- Head to purgatory.
- Enter purgatory.
- Proceed to purgatory mansion.
- Once inside, begin cutscene.
- Exit the mansion and get a call from Tobe.
- head back to Tojo headquarters.
- Exit purgatory proper and you get a call from Emoto.
- Next you get a call from Yuya, Go-Ryu are hitting spots.
- Exit purgatory and you run into Tamura.
- follow the pink dot to Bantam.
- On the way you will be attacked by Go-Ryu, defeat them.
- Enter Bantam and battle Go-Ryu, defeat them.
- Exit and head to Emoto clinic and you will battle Go-Ryu on the way.
- Once at the clinic, beat down the Go-Ryu.
- Leave the clinic and head to Stardust.
- A cutscene begins when you enter.
- After cutscene take on the Go-Ryu using quick steps and anything you can find to hit them with.
- Once you defeat them a cutscene begins.
- After cutscene, save your game.
Chapter Fifteen: Of Blood and Bondage
- Begin with cutscene.
- Head to purgatory.
- Enter and begin cutscene.
- Take Haruka around town.
- If you head towards Adam you happen upon a rooftop drama.
- Ota asks you to intervene, do so.
- ASk the kid to tell you what happened.
- Say: "She's a good person"
- Say: "See she's allergic"
- Say: "You should be happy she's okay"
- Say: "Maybe it's not that easy for her"
- Say: "She probably felt embarrassed by it"
- Begin cutscene.
- You get 3000 exp for helping out.
- You get a call from Date.
- Head to Serena but you might as well stop by Adam first.
- Leave Haruka outside and talk to Kagami.
- You must get a girl to spend 30000 yen.
- Say: "It was me"
- Say: "Wow, what a waste"
- Say; "I do volunteer work"
- Say: "You two sure are close"
- Suggest: "Champagne White"
- Say: "sounds like Pheromones"
- Say: "may I touch them"
- Say: "No problem"
- Say: "this is how the top host seduces women"
- Say: "Champagne is sort of watery"
- her total reaches 41000 yen.
- Talk to Kagami.
- head back to Serena.
- enter Serena, begin cutscene.
- head to tokyo Police Headquarters, Archive room 13.
- follow pink dot north to taxi.
- Begin cutscene.
- Save your game.
Chapter Sixteen: End Game
- Tip: Go back to Sotenburi river and find a big guy who wants some Judo practice. You'll have to defeat about 5 guys his size with only grabs and throws and you'll also have to break holds. This is a difficult and frustrating battle but when you succeed the final sequence will be much easier.
- Tip: Go back to Sotenburi river and find Tatsui who is an arms dealer.
- Talk with Date.
- He tells you to talk to him when you are ready to go to the final battle.
- Go to the hideout and clear out everything in your personal inventory except weapons.
- Leave Serena and go to Don Quixote.
- Buy as many of the strongest health items as you can fit.
- When you're ready, talk with him again to begin the final sequence.
- Head to Kamurocho Hills.
- Exit Serena and face Jingweon Mafia.
- Use grabs and throws to defeat the 1st wave.
- 2nd wave arrives, use the same technique but watch out for knifer.
- 3rd wave arrives, use a weapon from your arsenal and swing if it becomes available.
- A quick cutscene begins.
- You end up at Kamurocho Hills.
- Jingweon Mafia attacks with gunmen in tow.
- Use swing, if available, grabs and throws.
- Pick up dropped guns and fire them.
- 2nd wave arrives, use grabs, throws and heat specials.
- Pick up dropped weapons to use against them.
- Next you battle the Man in black on an elevator. Grab and throw repeatedly until he is defeated.
- Exit the elevator and explore the area for items.
- You find payback ring and Tauriner++.
- Proceed upstairs, begin cutscene.
- Battle Ryuji.
- A simple battle, you can use weapons in your arsenal, skanda water, these things make it easier or use grabs and throws.
- Begin next cutscene.
- Battle Daejon Kim.
- Daejon Kim wields an uzi, his minions are not that tough.
- Use swing repeatedly, if available. Always try and include Daejon in your attacks.
- Charge up your heat with R2, grab, throw and use special.
- Daejon will shoot in the sky to loose steel beams.
- Avoid with Quick Time Event, you must hit the button immediately when it is shown.
- Replenish health as little as possible, you need at least two strong health items for the final battle.
- After you defeat Daejon, begin cutscene.
- Tip: If you decide to take the time before the final fight completing side missions, don't try and go to the final battle in that same sitting. It is best to turn the game off and come back for a final session. If not, the game will do everything in it's power to frustrate you. From the way Ryuji fights and reacts to you to the way YOU fight and the things you may or may not be able to do in a given battle.
- Final battle with Ryuji.
- Block Ryuji's combo and strike quickly before he can grab you.
- Quickstep around Ryuji's combos and attack with your own.
- Use grabs and throws but you will be struck, unavoidably every time you do.
- Ryuji initiates a Quick Time Event, memorize it and hit buttons quickly.
- Continue to quickstep step, block and strike.
- If you are able, use your running two leg kick repeatedly.
- Ryuji will initiate another Quick Time Event where he tackles you to the ground.
- Hit the intial X then rapidly press the next buttons in the sequence to inflict the most damage.
- Once his gauge is in the yellow, Ryuji will start recharging, continue to strike him so he cannot.
- Continue to quick step and attack until his gauge nearly depleted.
- Ryuji initiates a Quick Time Event where you both run at each other.
- Hit Triangle to end the battle.
- Begin final cutscene.
- Roll credits.
- Save your game.
