Yadier Molina is a professional baseball player for the St. Louis Cardinals. He is the youngest brother of fellow Major League Baseball catchers Bengie Molina and Jose Molina.

Molina made his MLB debut on June 3, 2004. Molina became the third catcher in his family to play in the major leagues. His brothers Bengie Molina and Jose Molina are both catchers in the MLB. In his first season with the Cardinals Molina appeared in 51 games and hit 2 home runs with 15 runs batted in. In 2005, Molina appeared in 114 games and hit .252 with 8 home runs and 49 runs batted in.
