Yacht Crimes
A Seattle man has been charged with making a fraudulent insurance claim after allegedly sinking his yacht on March 22, 2008. Although he filed an insurance claim 3 days later, 50-year-old Brian Lewis claims his reason for sinking the boat was a result of losing his temper, not because of greed. Prior to the incident, Lewis had listed his yacht for sale with Mahina Yachts for $28,500. A broker for the yacht company claimed the situation was a rare occurrence, and remembered Lewis's vessel as being "beautiful."CNN.com: Doctors weigh chimp victim's course of treatment (February 20, 2009) -
