Xperl 3.1.3

XPerl 3.1.3 is the next version of the Xperl Addons for the World of Warcraft game. The addons enhance the game's user interface (UI). The primary enhancement of the default interface concerns "unitframes," the part of the interface that displays status of your character, party, and raid. The X-Perl modification stylizes for performance, utility, and control. This page will show you some of important features of this Addon and will provide the links needed to learn more about XPerl. The page also contains a tutorial video which will teach you how to use XPerl in World of Warcraft.

XPerl can provide different modifications such as 3D portraits for pets, players, targets, etc. During a fight the interface can flash with green and red lights, if your character receives damage or heals. This option will also apply if your pet or your party members are affected by damage/heals. Using XPerl will also allow you to modify the background colors, or the borders of the game interface. Other features are:

• Monitor the units that are affected by your buffs or healing spells; or you can monitor the buffs you received and how long they affect you;
• Save some memory on your system, because the Addon will create buff icons and Raid Frames on demand;
• Highlight the debuffs on friendly targets, giving priority to the debuffs you can cure;
• Show you all the members from your party that can resurrect you during a raid. Priority will have the players with the spell ready, or almost ready;
• Monitor the exact time for a buff/debuff that is affecting a party member or target in raid mode;

The interface is fully customable and you can redesign as you wish, in order to create a clean one, based on the functions you use the most in World of Warcraft. It is a useful tool especially if you like to Raid. XPerl is compatible with World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and can be downloaded from the Internet, for free. When you install it make sure you follow all the directions provided by the publisher.
