Sony's Xperia X2 is a Windows Mobile 6.5- based smartphone from SonyEricsson. It retains the form factor of its predecessor (Sony Xperia X1) with a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard on the side. The Sony Xperia X2 utilizes 14 preloaded XPERIA panels for application launch. Additionally, 16 more panels (e.g. Skype, CNN and Windows Live) are available for download. A new feature addition to Sony Xperia X2 is SlideView for providing quick access to missed calls or new messages. It is a work and play device that can task from presentation display on the big screen using the TV out cable to after hours YouTube viewing.

The Sony Xperia X2 features a 3.2" WVGA OLED color touchscreen (with handwriting recognition) that can display 800 x 480 pixel screen resolution. The 8.1 MP camera includes advanced features such as auto focus, geo tagging, image stabilizer and 16x digital zoom.
For connectivity, there are WiFi, Bluetooth, and aGPS (cellphone towers based GPS). Multimedia files supported are MPEG4 for video and MP3, AAC, AAC+, and WMA and can be listened either through headphones (with 3.5 mm jack), built-in stereo speakers or over wireless connection (using Bluetooth stereo (A2DP). A wide range of e-mail synchronization is supported (i.e. IMAP, POP3, SMTP, Microsoft Exchange).
The Xperia X2 works on most cellular networks including GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and UMTS tri-band global 3G (900/1900/2100 MHz).Reviews
