Xcode is a development environment made by Apple. It is a set of tools designed for developing software for Mac OS X. It includes Interface Builder, Instruments, Dashcode, the WebObjects framework and the complete reference documentation.
XCode and the iPhone

At the iPhone Software Roadmap event, Steve Jobs mentioned that the iPhone SDK has been designed to recognize and work with Xcode.
