This page provides information about various problems that might occur for the Xbox 360 console. For more information on how to fix the largest known problem, please visit our guide on How to Fix a Red Ring of Death.
Other Xbox 360 problems include the discs being scratched while in the unit and bricking. Bricking is when the software inside the unit renders the console useless, and needs a total replacement. Also, many users have units that read that there is no disc in the drive. This error is usually caused by a dirty laser or a problem with the magnetic features that keep the drive spinning. If a player encounters this error, the recommendation is to take the disc out of the console, reboot it, and insert the disc again.
Before you open your console for repair, please contact Xbox support either by phone, email, or Twitter, otherwise, users will void their warranty.https://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/nxe/contactus.aspx
