Xavier Brooks Paul Jr was born on February 25, 1985, in Slidell, Louisiana. He attended his high school and start his baseball career in Slidell High School.
Baseball Career
In high school, Paul was selected second-team All-American by Baseball America after recording a .391 batting average, with nine homers, 17 runs batted in and 18 stolen bases. He went on to play in the Pan American Games and the World Championships, helping the U.S. team take gold at the World Championships. Los Angeles Dodgers: Xavier Paul. In 2003, the Los Angeles Dodgers drafted him in the fourth round of the MLB draft. He spent the next several seasons in the minors, playing for the Ogden Raptors, Columbus Catfish, Vero Beach Dodgers, Jacksonville Suns and Las Vegas 51s.
