    The third-person action game X-Men Origins: Wolverine follows the events of the film and expands upon them. It recounts Wolverine's past and reveals how he ended up with an adamantium skeleton and regenerative abilities. The gameplay centers on combat and features an in-depth combo system, complete with finishing moves.

    Anger is a primary personality trait Wolverine is known for and this is recreated in the game when he enters a berserker rage.   • Alternate Costumes

    Wolverine has access to a few unlockable costumes during the game. Hidden throughout the game are bonuses that cause Wolverine to encounter an alternate version of himself. If the player defeats the alternate version, he will unlock the costume it was wearing. Some of the outfits include the classic X-Men yellow-and-blue, the brown-and-tan, and black X-Force uniforms. Wolverine also changes his clothes automatically during the game to match the storyline.
