• Blood and Gore

  Early previews of X-Men Origins: Wolverine stated that the violence and blood level have not been toned down just because the game is based on a movie. In fact, many of the critics who got to preview of the game were impressed with its level of realism and Wolverin's ability to channel his rage.

  IGN stated: "From the opening CG cutscene where Wolverine repeatedly tears into a guy's stomach, tossing blood this way and that, to the heads being lopped off by his claws, this mutant knows how to finish things in style.
