Gameplay
X-Blades offers multiple ways for players to dispatch their enemies. The game's main character, Ayumi, wields twin gun blades that she can use to hack and slash or shoot at her enemies. In addition she has the ability to use magic in a number of different spells, including fireballs, earthquakes and health regeneration.Players must earn the right to use spells by collecting experience points, which they can use to purchase spells. Which spells the player chooses to use will also effect the ending of the game. Destructive spells are classified under dark margic and healing spells are classified under light magic. The game will keep track of the player's preference throughout and will deliver an ending reflective of the path he or she has chosen.IGN: X-Blades preview
