    Though no rumor is ever fully confirmed until it happens, some rumors posted on various wrestling "newsboards" have actually occurred on WWE programming, occasionally causing some issues for the company's creative team.

    In February 2008, WWE's official website added an "Industry News" tab, which grabbed specific headlines from various news outlets covering not only WWE-related articles, but also for rival promotion TNA Wrestling. Upon its inclusion to the site, fans were quick to notice that spoilers and rumors were rarely mentioned, leading them to believe the section is heavily monitored.
