    During the WWE's peak years in the 1980s, children gradually became a core part of the company's audience. To capitalize on the interest, they teamed with LJN to produce several wrestling action figures.

    LJN figures were made of heavy rubber, but were favorites among fans at the time.X-Entertainment: WWF's LJN Figures Strike Back(July 4, 2002) As the WWE ventured more into the entertainment aspect of professional wrestling, they had Hasbro manufacture its figures next.

    Hasbro figures were plastic, and each could do one feature move.Retro Junk: Top 10 WWF Hasbro Figures For example, some figures had a "super punch" where the user had to pull back the figure's arm (on a spring) and release it to deliver the blow.

    The WWE is currently with Jakks Pacific to produce action figures. Jakks figures are bigger in size, more detailed in sculpt, and nearly every joint on the figure can be bent or manipulated.
