WrestleMania 2

Following the success of WWE's first WrestleMania, WrestleMania 2 emanated from three different venues, each with its own main event and undercard. Fans at the Nassau Coliseum in New York saw Mr. T take on Roddy Piper in a boxing match, while those at Chicago's Rosemont Horizon witnessed a 20-man battle royal featuring both WWE and NFL stars. The headline match, where Hulk Hogan faced King Kong Bundy in a steel cage, took place at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles.

Celebrities who participated in the festivities included Ozzy Osbourne, Joe Frazier and Ray Charles, who sang "America The Beautiful" to kick off the event.
