Cinematic Trailer

The first trailer to be released for Wrath of the Lich King was a cinematic trailer. It shows the Lich King waking up and forcing his sword into the ground. The ground cracks open and a skeletal dragon flies out. Wrath of the Lich King Trailer

In one trailer released for the game, it shows players in a town, then traveling across the land on foot and on mounts. The trailer shows a general map of the new continent, and then shows two players fighting a large axe-wielding monster in a burning forest. After some more exploring and more introductions of new creatures, the trailer discusses the Death Knight, a new Hero Class.
