In Wrath of the Lich King Naxxramas is an entry-level raid for groups of 10 or 25 players. Previously a 40-man raid in pre-Burning Crusade World of Warcraft, the entire raid has been re-designed for level 80 players and moved to the new continent of Northrend.

Naxxramas Lore
Naxxramas is a floating fortress previously occupied by Nerubians, an ancient race of spider-creatures. Torn from the ground by the Scourge and the Lich King, Naxxramas now serves as a base of operations for Kel'thuzad as he attempts to spread the undead plague across the human population of Lordaeron. Being a floating fortress, players will need to have a flying mount to access Naxxramas, or have their raid members perform a Ritual of Summoning to teleport them to the dungeon.WoW Wiki: NaxxramasNaxxramas Loot
Naxxramas' bosses drop highly desirable items, particularly tokens that can be traded for Tier 7 raid armor sets. These sets of armor are specifically designed for raiding and feature high statistics and ability boosts. The look of these armor sets are mostly based on the Tier 3 armor that was acquirable in the original Naxxrama, though they have been given some cosmetic changes like new color schemes and more. Armor sets come in two varieties: Heroic and Valorous. Heroic armor will be dropped during 10-man Naxxramas raids, and Valorous raids for 25-man groups.-
