There are a variety of new monsters in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack. Altogether there are 11 new kinds of creatures to battle on the new continent of Northrend. Some of the creatures are close relatives to those that have already been seen in the WoW, while others look completely new.WorldofWarcraft.com: Beastiary
The Beastiary
- Nerubian Vizier - Intelligent half-human half-spider sorcerers that rose to power after the War of the Spider. They may serve a larger emperor, which is yet to be seen.
- Plague Eruptor - Very fast and strong experiments thanks to the Lich King.
- Shoveltusk - Large tusked animals with an extra large antler for hitting people
- Iron Dwarf - Thought to be a possible missing link between the dwarves and titans, these guys have lightning pulsing in their veins
- Magnataur - Half-giant and half-mammoth, kind of like a minotaur
- Jormungar - Huge worm-like creatures that can tunnel through ice and rock
- Flesh Giant - A giant pieced together from other creatures in Northrend
- Wendigo - Large tusked, loud Yeti-like creatureWorldofWarcraft.com: Beastiary
- Darkfallen - An undead race, some of which serve the Lich King
- Ice Troll - Large trolls that live in cold climates. The Drakkari tribe has created a nation for themselves on Northrend
- Proto-Dragon - Part of the dragon species, and they're used as mounts by some in Northrend. Their drakes can also be found across the land.WoW Wiki: Proto-Dragons
