Inscription Details
Inscription is basically the ability to create new items that can augment existing abilities or spells. As part of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, all players received a new page in their spell book for glyphs. Adding glyphs to their book allows players to customize their spells and abilities any way they see fit. Scribes, the name for those of the Inscription profession, create these glyphs by milling pigments from herbs. The Scribes can then give or sell the glyphs to other players.In addition to glyphs, Scribes can also create vellum for enchanters, as well as Inscription-based scrolls. Any player can use items created by a Scribe and learn the Inscription profession, but only those who purchase Wrath of the Lich King will be able to level the profession beyond 375.WoWWiki.com Inscription
