Plot Synopsis
Working Girl tells the story of a New York City secretary Tess McGill (Melanie Griffith), who is trying to succeed in big business. After Tess' boss breaks her leg while on vacation, Tess goes to work for investment broker Jack Trainer (Harrison Ford). Tess juggles her professional troubles with issues in her personal life, after discovering that her boyfriend is cheating on her and that she is gradually falling in love with Jack.
