• Emmy Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated actor Woody Harrelson first caught the public eye on the television series Cheers playing the character of the dumb but lovable Woody Boyd. He went on to star in films including Natural Born Killers, The People vs. Larry Flynt, No Country for Old Men and many more. Harrelson works as an activist for the legalization of marijuana and hemp in the United States and is an ethical vegan and raw foodist and works as a peace activist making very public his dislike of the invasion of Iraq.

  Harrelson is being investigated in April of 2009 for an alleged attack on a paparazzo at New York's La Guardia airport. • Marriage to Laura Louie

  Harrelson and Louie married on December 28, 2008, on the island of Maui. The couple have three children together, Makani Ravello, Zoe Giordano and Denni Montana. Alanis Morissette performed at the wedding ceremony. Harrelson's rep made this comment, "Woody Harrelson and Laura Louie were officially married yesterday on the island of Maui. The ceremony was attended by family and friends. The couple have been together 20 years and are the proud parents of three daughters."
