Wonder Woman's Origins
Princess Diana is the daughter of Queen Hippolyta, ruler over the tribe of Amazons on Paradise Island. When a WWII intelligence officer in the United States Army, named Steve Trevor, crashes on the island, Diana falls in love with him while nursing him back to health. It is decided that one Amazon must leave the island with Steve Trevor to help him fight the Nazis. A tournament is held to determine who is the greatest Amazon warrior. Queen Hippolyta forbids her daughter to partake in the tournament, but Diana hides her identity and wins. Princess Diana becomes Wonder Woman, returns with Steve Trevor to the outside world, and assumes the alter ego, Lieutenant Diana Prince.
