Wonder Boys is a film from director Curtis Hanson about a struggling University professor (Michael Douglas) and the different people in his life, including his agent (Robert Downey Jr.), his mistress (Frances McDormand) and a pair of students (played by Tobey Maguire and Katie Holmes). Based on the novel Wonder Boys by Michael Chabon, the film was critically acclaimed at the time of its released but went on to disappointing box office sales. The film was nominated for three Academy Awards - with Bob Dylan winning the only only for his song "Things Have Changed"
