  • The New Mexico Lobos and BYU Cougars battled it out in the Mountain West Conference Tournament Women's Soccer Tournament and things got a little out of hand. BYU had taken a 1-0 lead when the action got intensely physical. The players elbowed and kicked each other, but the most egregious offender was Elizabeth Lambert (number 15) of New Mexico who took down BYU's Kassidy Shumway by the ponytail. BYU won the game 1-0, advancing to the tournament finals.
