The 2008 Women's Olympic Marathon Trials were held Sunday April 20th in Boston, Massachusetts. Over 150 elite female marathon runners participated in the race which started at 8:00 am.
Deena Kastor came in first place with a time of 2:29:35. Kastor won a prize of $50,000. Magdalena Lewy Boulet came in second place with a time of 2:30:19, winning a prize of $40,000. The winners will receive an additional $10,000 for their Beijing participation.
