CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer appeared on Celebrity Jeopardy! on September 18, 2009. Blitzer was competing on Jeopardy! against comedian and actor Andy Richter and actress Dana Delany. Blitzer finished last on the show. Double Jeopardy! Disaster
Wolf Blitzer was in last place with $1400 heading into Double Jeopardy!; Richter had nearly $12,000. Going into Final Jeopardy! Richter had $39,000 and Blitzer was in the red with negative $4600. The Final Jeopardy! question for Blitzer, Richter and Delany: "Ironically, he lost the leading role in the 1960 play The Best Man because he didn't look presidential." Blitzer correctly wagered all of his $1000 on the answer "Who is Ronald Reagan?" He finished with $2000. Dana Delany also answered Reagan; she finished with $9300.
