  • Use

A wok is usually used to make stir fry but can be used to steam, deep fry, or boil soup.

To stir fry using a wok heat up a few tablespoons of oil in the wok over the highest heat. Once the oil is hot throw in minced garlic or ginger to flavor the oil then throw in the vegetables and quickly stir around in the hot oil just for a couple of minutes. Take the vegetables out, heat another couple of teaspoons of oil and add in the meat fry it quickly just for a minute or two. All the vegetables and meats should be sliced thin so that they cook quickly.

Return all ingredients to the wok and add in a starch cooking sauce just until the sauce thickens. Serve immediately over white or fried rice.
