Background
Witless Protection was written and directed by Charles Robert Carner. The film opened to universally negative reviews and earned a modest $4,131,640 in the United States. The film is a follow up to Health Inspector. Both films feature the character of Larry the Cable Guy who is a character created by Daniel Lawrence Whitney. The character was part of the successful Blue Collar Comedy Tour and features rural,and crude, humor with a southern accent. -
