Wisconsin has 10 electoral votes up for grabs. John McCain and Barack Obama won their respective primaries in the state. While the contest between the two contenders was originally close, Obama has pulled ahead in recent weeks. As of October 31, 2008, Obama led McCain in the polls by 14 percent.Associated Press: Poll: Obama Mains Leads in IA and WI (October 31, 2008) Obama has a significant lead, although on October 14, it was reported to be 17 points and has since narrowed.Capital Times: WI Poll: Obama's Lead up to 17 Points (October 14, 2008) The polls close at 8 pm on election night and returns can be expected soon thereafter.
