Winson Blackmore, one of the leaders of a Canadian sect of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was arrested in Bountiful, British Columbia on January 7, 2009 on charges of polygamy. He was charged with marrying 20 women. Also arrested in the same raid was James Oler, accused of marrying two women.
