• Winona Ryder is an award winning actress who stared in an eclectic mix of films in the 1990s. She became popular after playing a depressed teen in Tim Burton's 1988 dark-comedy Beetlejuice. She has since appeared in well known films such as Girl, Interrupted, Zoolander and Mr. Deeds.

  After months of speculation, Winona Ryder said in an interview appearing in the July issue of Empire that a sequel to the 1988 cult film "Heathers" is in the works. [1]

• Shoplifting Allegations

  Winona Ryder was accused of shoplifting in March of 2008 after setting off the security alarm upon leaving a Cvs Pharmacy in Hollywood. Several unpaid makeup items were reportedly found in her possession. The items were returned and charges were not pressed. In 2002, Ryder was convicted of shoplifting after allegedly stealing $6,000 worth of clothing from Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills.
