Avoided and feared fighters
- Both Paul Williams and Winky Wright are notorious for being avoided by the big money fighters. Williams and Wright are both technically sound south paw boxers, which makes a fight with a top notch contender difficult to secure. Other notable reasons for fighters to avoid the two are that Wright is known as a defensive specialist with an excellent jab, while Williams is 6'1' tall with a 82-inch reach. Critics will be quick to point out that their fighting styles do not inspire pay-per-view type money. Neither fighter is noted for awe inspiring punching power and their defense first mentality often lead to uninspiring victories.Las Vegas Sun: Feared, respected and often avoided (March 26, 2009)
