William Felkner is a 45-year-old college student who says he was persecuted by his school for being too conservative. Felkner says his professors at Rhode Island College School of Social Work refused to approve his final project on welfare reform because his project put forth a conservative argument on the issue. Felkner is currently involved in a lawsuit against the school for the alleged discrimination.Fox News: Student Says School Persecuted Him... (December 16, 2008)
Quotes
There were two years worth of discrimination really, there's no better way to put it, because I had different views than the school does. (December 16, 2008)You can say what you want about the war on poverty and how it's going, but I think that it hasn't gone well and I think there are better alternatives, and I think it was a shame I wasn't even allowed to research and pursue those interests. It's indoctrination.—William FelknerFox News: Student Says School Persecuted Him... (December 16, 2008)
