Will.i.am is a Hip-Hop producer and founding member of the popular group Black Eyed Peas.
On June 22, 2009, gossip blogger Perez Hilton tweeted that he had been assaulted by Will.i.am. In separate messages, Hilton wrote that he needed the "police ASAP" and that he was "assaulted by Will.i.am" of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards." Will.i.am joined with composer David Foster to create "America's Song" for The Oprah Winfrey Show. Speaking to Oprah, on the Washington D.C. show on January 19, 2009, he stated, "The meaning of this song is being proud of America. Career
As a producer, Will.i.am has worked with some of the biggest acts in music. He produced tracks for the Pussycat Dolls, John Legend, Fergie, The Game, Ciara, Nicole Scherzinger, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Lil Wayne and many more.
As a solo recording artist he released two compilation albums and one studio album, 2007s Songs About Girls.
