The Nintendo Wii is Nintendo's newest video game console. The Wii was the seventh console Nintendo created, developed after the Gamecube. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 both have graphic-rendering or High Definition capabilities which the Wii lacks, but the Wii uses motion-sensing controllers called Wiimotes to explore new possible ways of gaming. An example would be using the Wiimote as a steering wheel while playing Mario Kart Wii.
The Wii can also play Gamecube games and has 4 spots to plug in Gamecube controllers. The Wii is the most popular console in term of worldwide sales.http://www.nintendo.com/wii On January 15, 2009, YouTube announced that their video service will be streamable through the Nintendo Wii gaming console. http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/01/15/youtube-comes-to-the-wii-and-ps3-but-not-xbox/ Another feature of the Wii is the access to Wi-Fi Internet service.
