Wii Fit is a fitness game that is part of the Wii Sports series of video games for the Nintendo Wii. The game was first released on May 19, 2008. It can be used for many different interactive exercises.

Game Play
Using the Wii Balance Board, players can choose from over 40 different interactive activities. Some of these include yoga and push ups. A player stands on the board that has built in sensors to detect the various movements. Nintendo hopes that this concept of exercise gaming will encourage both kids and adults to be more active.
Wii Fit Plus
An enhanced version of Wii Fit entitled Wii Fit Plus was released in North America on October 4, 2009. This new edition includes new yoga exercises, such as spine extension, the gate, and grounded V. It also includes new strength training exercises, such as rhythm kung fun, driving range, and big top juggling. Within one month of its release date, Wii Fit plus sales totaled over 2.1 million copies worldwide. You must have a Wii Balance Board in order to play Wii Fit Plus.
