Who Won Biggest Loser Couples

  • The winner of the 2009 Biggest Loser: Couples was Helen Phillips, after she lost 140 pounds and over 54% of her body weight. Helen won the title of Biggest Loser and the quarter of a million dollar cash prize. Gerald "Jerry" Hayes lost the most weights out of the eliminated contestants, winning $100,000.

  • 2008 Competition

    Four contestants remained in the running to become the winner of Biggest Loser Couples. After months of competition, hairstylist and former champion synchronized swimmer Ali Vincent was chosen as the winner. Vincent became the series' first female winner during the two-hour finale of the NBC show on April 15, 2008. All total, Vincent lost 112 pounds over a period of six months.

    Heading into the season finale, Vincent had lost 99 pounds total, Kelly Fields had dropped 93 pounds, Mark Kruger had shed 116 pounds, and Roger Schultz had lost 144 pounds. Vincent and Fields secured two of the three spots in the final, and online voters chose between Schultz and Kruger for the third spot. Kruger was voted out in the first few minutes of the finale, and was grateful to have been a part of the experience.
